Who is the author of the games on this website?

The game Oregon Trail was created by American programmer and designer Don Rawitsch. Together with two other teachers, Bill Heinemann and Paul Dillenberger, they developed this educational game for their students in 1971. The game was later revised and commercially released by MECC (Minnesota Educational Computing Consortium) in 1974. The game quickly gained popularity and became a classic in the field of educational games.
